Certification as a Minority-owned Business Enterprise (MBE), Woman-owned Business Enterprise (WBE), and/or Service-Disabled Veteran Enterprise (SDVE) provides greater opportunities for these businesses to participate on state contracts. Many state contracts include certified vendor participation goals. Certified vendors may receive additional points towards the bid score when bidding on state contracts.

Certified MBE and WBE vendors appear on the Office of Equal Opportunity Certified M/WBE Vendors Directory. Certified SDVE vendors appear on the Certified SDVE Vendors Directory. State agencies, contractors, and other organizations use this site as a resource to identify MBE, WBE, SDVE vendors who are available to participate on contracts.

Missouri Service-Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (SDVE)
A Service-Disabled Veteran is defined as any individual who is disabled as certified by the appropriate federal agency responsible for the administration of veteran’s affairs.

This logo is intended solely for marketing purposes—and should not be used to verify a firm’s certification status. Please go to OEO’s Vendor Directory— here—or contact our office for verification. To maintain the integrity of the certification program and certified MBE/WBE businesses, unauthorized use of the logo in connection with a business not currently certified as an MBE/WBE with the State of Missouri is not permissible.
